I stopped by the Halifax Antique Car Club show today and took a few quick pics. My camera was acting up so I was a bit limited. Turnout wasn't a good as it usually is, thanks to a combination of a new venue and threatening weather. But I was able to grab a few shots:
The pair of '66 Dodges shown were both for sale in the car corral. The white Polara 500 was beautifully restored and simply gorgeous. The interior pic didn't come out well and doesn't do it justice. The owner was asking $19,500 and I wish him luck. The red Polara was rather plain, with a 318, bench seats, and a Plymouth dashboard (being a Canadian car), appeared either original or an older repaint, and he was asking $14,800 for it, which I thought was way too much.
There were a few other Mopars there that I liked. The '68 Roadrunner was pretty basic but beautifully restored, as was the lovely '56 Chrysler. The '73 Challenger was nice also, and the old Barracuda was just cool.
