Also the the reman ones for in this case a 440. 71 bucks NEW with a vacuum advance and cap for a new one. I bought a reman one for 38 bucks last year at autozone. It is great although the vacuum advance pucked [leak] ,I had another good one, thank goodness. They now make new ones [vacuum advance for these] and are available at Tony's parts and Mancicni.

For Dodge Charger 1966-1972 Cardone Select Ignition Distributor | eBay

Look nice would like to see what year/app they set the curve in them for.

Cardone's words, not mine.

Product Details
Ignition Distributor by Cardone Select®. Cardone Select Engineered (CSE) Technology ensures that all distributors meet or exceed O.E. form, fit and function. The only NEW distributor in the aftermarket that is 100% computer tested for guaranteed, long-lasting performance. When CAM sizes are consolidated, the rotor number is placed on the unit to make service easy later on. This distributor includes the cap and rotor to make installation a snap.

I got a reman Cardone distributor last year and although the vacuum advance was bad and replaced the distributor itself has been good.
That was 38 bucks at Autozone. Their points were junk and I tossed them for Blue Streak. Their other products I have no experience with.

Cardone's has three grades.
Bad. Worse. Worst.

Seriously, I would think the Cardone Select® probably isn't half bad.
Maybe they're try to improve their image

Stay away from Cardone. They don't deserve anyone's bidness.

Get a used OEM dizzy and rebuild it.

EDIT: Or, a new one from Pertronix or other American aftermarket source.

My old distributor's lobes were worn out so couldnt rebuild it. The reman has been great. Lucky I guess.

They were terrible when they were domiciled in New Jersey and payin' their workerz $8 an hour to turn out their junk, so they moved their entire operation to Mexico 'bout 8-9 yearz ago to save $ on wagez. I can't believe Rock Auto still sellz Cardoni crap, Jer

They are beyond improvement Commando and they just don't seem to care. Kinda like Dorman with all the crap they sell on their Help racks in partz storez around the country

My car came with a Cardone dizzy installed when I bought it. It ran like crap. Luckily the OEM unit was in the trunk, so I promptly swapped 'em out.

I sent Cardone a "peer review" of their dizzy and told them exactly what was wrong with it. No reply.

That's why I do what I do. Cardone is a crap shoot!

I'll agree with that. I have.only bought one thing and lucked out I guess.
