I found this video of an Australian TV show coverage of Chrysler's at Carlisle 2013. You kind of get a glimpse of Carlisle especially at the end of the video which views a little bit of the showfield. The video shows the Carlisle Dealership, Survivor Tent, T Building, Car Corral, some vendors including Herb's Parts (I seen a complete set of NOS Road Wheels - don't know if Herb's or another vendor was selling them). It's just a micro-ism of Carlisle that is in video mode to give you a sense of Carlisle if you haven't been there yet.

I dont believe the nos road wheel statement. How many of us walked that field for 4 days, i myself walked by herbs half a dozen times

Ok, that's different....two Dodge Chargers, a 1966 383 6 pak 66 car and a 1968 426 Hemi 6 pak car. Never would have thought of that, but its cool.....the host is annoying however.

I have a B engine 6 barrel set up for my 68 RR which will also have an Air Grabber fresh air hood on it.:yaayy:

Yeah, the intakes are different between the B and the RB engines because of the taller deck height on the RB.

The 6 pak intake for the b engine is not the same as the RB unit I assume?

I thoight that all the 383 motors after '61 (or so) were RB motors. Therefore, wouldn't a '68 RR have an RB 383 in it ? Someone, please enlighten me on this. . .

After 1961........

All 361,383,400 are B Engines.

All 413, 426 (wedge), 440 are RB Engines.

There was a 383 RB engine used in U.S. built 1959-1960 Chrysler Windsor's and Sarartoga's. One of the Trenton engine lines was converted to the new RB engine (to make the 413) and demand for the 383 B engine was too high for the remaining line. The solution was to create a 383 RB (4.03" bore) to fill the gap until the plant figured out quickly switch from one block to the other.

Thanx a lot, Bob. Looks like I had it a little backwards. . .

Yeah, thanks x2 for the history lesson. I kinda thought there was a year somewhere along there when the 383 was an RB.

That fellow is a bore, I have seen a previous years recording and swore I would never watch another........Thanks Bob

I'll admit that guy is very annoying..........almost as much as Dave's friend on Top Gear!

Sorry.........Steve Magnante
