I’m considering a new carpet set in my 1970 300 convertI BLR. I’ve been googling a bit and can find 2 door carpet sets but most say it will not fit the convertible.
Does anyone know a source where a guy could get a carpet set for a 70 300, hopefully with door carpets as well?

Here's the problem..... Auto Custom Carpets is now the only manufacturer of molded aftermarket carpet. Trim Parts made one to fit your car. I have a Trim Parts carpet in my 70 300 vert.

Auto Custom bought Trim Parts and now we have this problem.

Also, no matter where you purchase, they will not have precut door carpets, but they will sell you additional yardage.

I don't have an answer if the ACC hardtop carpet will fit, but it should be close. It's been discussed a lot here, so maybe one of the other guys that's fine through it can tell us.

Stock Interiors is a good source. Buy extra yardage for the doors.

Stock interiors is the company that says their kits will NOT fit a convertible (in capitals as you can see)

Stock Interiors sells ACC carpet.
As does everyone else, like the mentioned Rock Auto.

Some of the other guys have gotten around it, but I don't know.

Is the factory carpet colour specked on the fender tag?
Mine has been replaced a long time ago with a dark chocolate coloured carpet.
Found a few bits of the original glued to the sill and it’s much more of a caramel colour; my interior is saddle tan.
Is the carpet on the door panel bottoms glued to the panel?

the carpet is the same saddle tan as the rest of the interior and is not specced on the tag.
here's my door panel with its original carpet ( pull strap has since been redone )

Sown on, not glued. They sew right through the board and everything.
