Central/west Florida info

Was there 3 weeks ago on business, drive like drunken indy drivers and I never saw so many dump trucks.

Finally had enough of the weather in the north Will? If you really want to avoid the serious stuff for the rest of your life you should come back home to Michigan.:poke::rolleyes::lol:

How much of a difference in weather will the be from southern Alabama to west coast Florida?
Seems like a lateral move if the weather is the primary factor.
FL is an income tax free state though.

I think there’s been quite a bit of extreme weather events rolling through his area and I don’t see that changing.

Sarasota is now just referred to as 'Sota but all the new Northern 'Hipsters' that infest the area now.
Never heard that term when I lived there in the 70's and went back to visit in the 80's.

Anything else? Ft. Meyer's is a shithole, was back then and still is today I take it.

At our age, it's a significant difference. AMWIK
I'm South Central and there's a difference between here and Orlando.

I'm off the Gulf about 5 miles, about an hour north of Tampa. Traffic here is aggravating, summer is too hot to accomplish mush outside (reverse winter).
If you look at the State rods , anything north of SR50 is still fairly affordable, West of the Garlits show in Ocala area still has some nice set back areas out of the way. Urban sprawl hasn't reached that area as much as the areas south of SR50 to Tampa, and then south from there.
What kind of area do you want to live in?

Tarpon Springs, just outside of Tampa. On the water, cools classic car dealer in downtown. Great authentic Greek food. It's been quite a while since I've visited, but if I was moving to FL that's where i'd go.
