my buddy & pit mate needs to sell his Dodge Challenger drag car. He's a single father raising a young son & no longer has time for it. It runs well into the 6.80's in the 1/8th mile. Car has a 407 stroker based on a 360 Magnum block. Indy heads. 10 point cage. Manual V/B. Cal trac bars. Alunimum manual steering box. 8 3/4 rear with a 4:56 Richmond Gear & Spool. Mosher axels. R/T hood. This car is fast & ive seen it race many times. Hits hard like a NASCAR engine. Over 30K invested. Asking $20K. Car is located in Pittsboro, NC just outside Raleigh

If my calculations are close the 6.80 et
would be about 10.6 in quarter....

Alum steering box (manual) would be a stock item ....

Correct on the quarter. Car came with an iron power box. The aluminum box was installed to save some weight

Nice package at a very fair price and a little bit stealthy with the stroker small block too. Good luck for a hassle free sale.
Ten points to your bud for standing by his boy as well.

what is the purpose of the air filter heat shield?
yea I saw that. I'll have to ask Mike. The car was built by a guy in Durham that builds a lots of Super Stock cars. And another guy who runs a winning Super Stock 428 Cobra Jet Mustang helped Mike set it up. So these guys know what they are doing. I'm guessing to help air around the air cleaner.

Nice!

I have the same billet aluminum thermostat housing (from 440 Source) on both of my Formal's. LOL!

Good luck with the sale!
