Leaving this morning for Charlotte NC and the Auto fair at the speedway. Always a cool place to go.
I'll keep my eye out for C bodys and forward look cars.

Man I had it on my schedule. Only been once & that was years ago. Talked to several local car nuts & all have been recently & told me few Mopars & usually only 1 or 2 mopar parts vendors. So I scratched it off my list. Please tell me what you find.

The Charlotte Auto Fair was a bunch of fun. Just not a good place for a Mopar guy. Charlotte is Ford & Chevy country. We walked the entire swap area and half of the car corral in the two days we were there. Never made it over to the show field on Saturday. The only Mopar vendors were J&J, (always the same old B body stuff), and Larsons, (Always the same repop and overpriced Bbody NOS stuff).

I did take a few pics ........

I did find this console on the swap field. First time i'd seen one like it. My guess is it came out of a 64/65 300, Sport Fury or polara 500.
Price on it was $400.00

WOW!!! The white Desoto & the Red 300 are pushing my buttons. I'd would have had to talk with the guy on that console....I could use that in my 64. Did you get his info?

Have you ever been to J and J's place Will? Has a nice wreckng yard on his own property FULL of old mopars. Other then that though, he does not impress me. Stupid $$ for anything he has. I'm surprised he sells anything... Never answers phone calls, and whenever I go there, I'm greeted by his wife, who explains hes not home, and shes not allowed to sell anything.

Thanks for the great pics! Looks like it was a lot of fun.

I did ask hm about the console. He didn't seem to know much about it, kept saying "it's rare. It was the only mopar thing he had. I should have gotten his contact info, but didn't .... sorry.

Yep, I've been to his place. Down in Starke Fl. Jerry is a strange guy. Old school. He has no computer or even a cell phone or answering service. He told me he won't answer the phone until it rings 12-15 times, even if he's sitting next to it. He hates solicitors.

He has a huge collection of B body parts cars, not many C bodys or forward look cars.
I've gotten a few things from him in the past.

That's ok, I'll ask around & see if someone whos who the guy is. $400.00 is certainly worth looking at. I think that would look great in my 64 Newport rat rod
