I have two more leaks I suspect are coming from the cowl or heater/fresh air plenum box on the firewall. The heater core is not leaking, it's only rain water coming in. On the driver side it seems to be coming in somewhere over the trans tunnel and pooling down by the gas pedal. On the passenger side, it's coming in near the kick panel on the firewall. The service manual states to "reach in" and seal 3 areas in the cowl shown in the figure. Do you need a child to do this? I cannot get my hands in there at all, I can barely even see in there really. I vacuumed and cleaned the cowl area out yesterday really well with compresses air first and made sure the drains were clear.

Can the plenum box be removed from the engine bay easily for better access or is that opening a can of worms?

Make sure the wiper pivot seas are good before tearing into it. Common issue.

Update, I had extra time this morning. Stuck a hose aimed at the windshield and laid upside down staring at the firewall for 20 minutes. I found the sources of the leaks. The driver side one is from the fresh air rubber door. The passenger side one is from the antenna cable opening. The antenna cable hole is an easy one. The rubber door is not so easy in my mind. I was thinking of adding a bead of silicone around the door opening. Anyone dealt with a leaky fresh air door?
