I've never seen a '66 ad with the heart in it, so I would have to say '67 is the first model year it was used.

I have one of those, use to wear it to shows. There were people that were surprised I actually was wearing it.

67 first, only used 3 years that I know of.

I scooped it up for $25 bucks, the seam on left armpit came unthreaded. Ill see if I can find a Taylor to fix it. Over all very cool coat!!
