Berkly Classic Car Parade, the night before The Woodward Dream Cruise. All 400 or so cars congregate in the cemetery at the corner of 12 Mile and Woodward and we motor East on 12 through downtown Berkly. At the end of the parade you can double back through the neighborhood, park in a reserved lot behind the old theatre and enjoy a party in the street with live music as you wander in and out of several bars. The parade route is maybe a mile or so and ideally you were towards the beginning so after you park you can enjoy the rest of the parade on the street side with the thousands of people that came to watch. It's a lot of fun and its been a father son thing for the last 14 or so years.
