would love to see the lenses from a few angles, we are trying to figure out if we can repop them.

I have a couple of driver quality pieces, you only want them so you can repop them?

yes we are thinking about that.
Classic Industries wanted to buy our parts and moldings when we did the Charger grille so i can promise quality!

Had some trouble with a few of the screws , I'll have to work on them a little bit, but you can get the idea of the condition.

I'll be keeping the bezels pictured above, but I have a selection of lower grade pieces if you are interested. Another thing that needs to be reproduced are the gaskets.

great pictures thanks!
I'm looking in the original manual, is it so that the back up high lens are a piece for it self?

If you mean the white/clear part of the lens, they are glued into the red lens, they don't come a part. There is a separator inside that prevents the red from "bleeding" into the white back-up lens. When I get the screw out, I'll take pictures of that part as well.

Incidentally, these are the same lenses that are used for the '71 300. The '71 has a different bezel.

the y show it like the back up lens are a loose piece in the manual, but they call it a colliminator

col·li·ma·tor
ˈkäləˌmādər/
noun
noun: collimator; plural noun: collimators

  1. a device for producing a parallel beam of rays or radiation.

    • a small fixed telescope used for adjusting the line of sight of an astronomical telescope.

You are correct, I see it in the service manual, but it is not listed in the parts book as a separate piece.

It is probably a prismatic piece that lays on the inside of the assembly, I wouldn't have thought about it being a separate piece fro the lens assembly.
