'74 Chrysler Conqueror S-III Super Bee
$1
Phoenix, AZ

Several years back answered an ad for a guy selling a 340 engine and was told I had to take it out of a boat. Tells me Chrysler made 340 powered speedboats... I never knew it. Anyway, I never owned a boat and this was too nice to junk so I thought it would look cool restored and towed behind one of my vintage MoPars. After spending several years going thru it I finally got it in the water last year and came to realize that while I'm a MoPar guy, I'm not a boat guy. This needs a good home.
The engine has been rebuilt top to bottom and includes all new manifolds and risers, the Volvo 270T was gone thru by a local boat mechanic (because I'd never been inside an outdrive), the interior has been redone including new wood framing under the upholstery. We had new original style blue windows made to replace the sun crazed originals. With the exception of the custom Chrysler Conqueror S-III graphics and the 340 callout decals on the hood, everything is painted striping. Beautiful 1970's style heavy metallic blue highlights really pop in the sunshine. The original trailer was powder coated. All brakes, lamps and wiring replaced, new tires on 15 inch Chrysler road wheels. Would consider interesting MoPar trade or cash? PM please. Thanks.

That's a pretty honest ad. I think those Chrysler boats look awesome, and I love the history of all the stuff we used to make.... but I don't think I'm a boat guy either.

That’s pretty neat and I bet it sounds great too. Is the exhaust through the transom or the stern drive?

Anyone know how much he's asking?
$

Of course you had to double the amount of Road Wheels on your Trailer.:p

Can someone get a viewable link off FB and post? I don’t FB either and like to read the details, what’s he asking for it?

That is neat & no I have never seen another. I did have a 14' runabout with a 40hp Chrysler. Best boat ever. Cheap & I could launch in myself, and didn't use much fuel. Shoulda kept that one.

I would like to tow this boat with a '74 blue imperial with a white leather interior. I would feel like a million bucks.

The link to the FB site I posted is the only one I can find. I posted the verbiage in it's entirety and no $ price was listed just contact owner as he was interested in trades. There were a few more photos that I am including in this post. A little investigation reveals he owns a P&B shop in Phoenix Welcome to Michael's Collision Technicians! | Phoenix, Arizona
his name is Michael Laiserin. I would suggest that you might want to consider joining the site on FB. It is passive in that it requires no input from you and you can control the feed you receive in your settings page. I am a subscriber to 4 or 5 of these Mopar only sites that are geared to selling CDP parts and cars.

No price listed! Which translates to “If you have to ask! Then you can’t afford “ lol.. from the looks of it, my guess is it’s worth whatever he’s ask’en.

Would make a nice vacation trip!
Pick it up in Phoenix in May and ski all the great ski lakes across the South, up to Tennessee and across to the Carolina's on the way home!
Then if you are tired of it take it to Carlisle and get your money back.
