This is is a one-family car, a station wagon custom-purchased by my dad from a Portland OR dealership. I have completely rebuilt the original 383 engine block, V8 290 HP, two barrel carburetor, also the original automatic tranny is rebuilt (shifts on the steering column) plus the brake system. Most mechanical issues have been dealt with, and the car does indeed run! Come hear her roar!! The long Town & Country station-wagon body does NOT have any panel rust-through, still on the original paint job, shows the four-door Newport body lines with big luggage rack on top. The body color is eye-catching GOLD, and my dad custom-ordered this car WITHOUT the usual wood-grain inserts so this vehicle is probably unique in that respect. The golden-tan/brown interior upholstery is in better-than-average condition for age of vehicle, so this car needs only basic cosmetic upgrading to be a true "parade car." This car has radio, original hubcaps, power steering, REAR AC, I also have the original build sheet for documentation. Two-seater layout for six occupants, lots of cargo space. I can also include some extra parts to support further restoration. I have over $5,400 in direct costs to restore the car to its current condition, with bills for proof. Good Missouri title. I would like to recover $5K on my costs so that is my current asking price, come look and make me your offer. Call me at 573-239-0183 cell/voicemail.
