I have to sell my 1975 Imperial Lebaron crown coupe as I have too many projects and this car, once my daily driver, has just been sitting. The car now has about 50 thousand ORIGINAL miles,. I repainted the car and had the correct silver roof installed with opera lamps from a 75 cordoba, however now the roof is black because the sun faded the silver so I colored it and I replaced the original dark red interior with black from my other 75 imperial.
A little TLC and this car would be perfect, the 440 runs very well and the radiator has been upgraded to a 3 core from a trailering package car. 2500 or best cash offer, I need the money to rebuild the motor in my 1961 imperial. Email and I will return all messages promptly. Here is a video clip of the car running: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5Yz9IFPhhI

Examined this one earlier. Interior is really shabby. Not as nice as the pics make it out to be.

I beg to differ sir; this is my car that was for sale but I decided to keep and I have never shown this car to anyone much less you and I have never even seen or met you!

Welcome, very nice car. I am a big fan of 74-75 Imperials. Please stick around and share more about your car. Had your timing been different, I might have approached you about this car. You will find many enthusiasts here, even if we are a little hard on the CL ads. We even know a guy who may be interested in your car if you decide to sell again.

You'll have to excuse Stan (Commando1), he has turrets....
He's happy you're here and so am I welcome to the site from the Motor City!
Let's have a look at that '61.

Welcome to the forum. The car looks nice from the couple pictures that are posted and was well worth the asking price.

It is a two year old thread.... The ad is gone as is the video so we have no idea what Stan was looking at. We tend to be a bit critical of Craigs List ads around here. Don't take it personal.

How's the car look these days? That is more important. Some pictures would be nice as would be some pics of the 61.

Welcome. Hope you choose to stay here and tell us about your car. BTW opinions here fly fast and furious with little consideration of delicate sensibilities LOL.

Let's see some pictures of both cars.

Does the ATC II work in the Imp?

Thanks for the warm welcome! I had thought of selling the car a few times and even after recieving a few good offers decided to keep it, I really do love the car. The only blemish in the interior is the top edge of the drivers seat, it was dry when I bought the car and eventually began to crack. My ATC worked when I first got the car but began to leak from the vacuum connector beneath the hood. I personally love Craigslist and have found several good deals, actually all 10 of my cars were found on CL. I have never paid more than 1500, the majority below 1000 and my collection includes two 75 Imperials, two 61 Imperial LeBarons, three 81 Imperials, a 81 Riviera, a 83 Biarritz and an 87 Brougham dElegance.
