1973 Chrysler New Yorker

1973 Chrysler New Yorker. 440 V-8 All original and in great shape for its age. This car was parked in 1984. It has been cleaned up, and has a new battery, new tires new AC pump and new radiator. Runs strong and has no rust. The roof is solid under the vinyl top. The interior is in great shape and everything works.

Has plenty nicks dings and scratches, windows run slow, AC pump needs a belt.

Classic.

$2800 OBO

Good spot Jeff .....what on earth is that ...thing....on the top of the rear quarter??

I had a 73 NY 4-door-HT in light green exterior/dark green vinyl top. Interior was exactly the same, right down to the green nylon brocade seat covers.

Strangely, Chrysler decided to change the seat upholstery on the '73 New Yorker Broughams part way through the model year. The cloth inserts were changed from the brocade to a simple fine-striped fabric that didn't hold up well at all. My '73 has the latter, and with only 53K on the clock the inserts are all ripped apart, even on the rear seat. :(

Jeff

That nylon brocade was totally synthetic, but during the summer, it was the coolest, best breathing seat cushion I ever sat on. I was really impressed with that interior. Too bad they got rid of it.
