Had my local spicer dealer order me a new yoke so i can install my 3.23 fine spline pinion. The yoke that came in was the wrong design. My yoke is stockfor my 489 case newyorker with the 440. His yoke did not have the locating "ears" that hold the caps in place on the pinion side. Any idea which yoke i need?

Need to know whether you have a small u joint 7260, or large u joint 7290.

I thought the 489 is a course 10 spline and the 742 is a fine spline 29 IIRC moparts has some good info done by Dr diff.
