Hmmm 2dr 440 formal for cheap. I like the red, not so much the white. Which Formals have that extra side trim?

That's a beauty!

I wonder if these have the ful size rear seat windows in them and can be converted to a htp like we were discussing last week?

Pete, where are ya?>

Mine did. When I took it apart to do the vinyl top everything was there. Only problem was it had a manual window regulator while the car had power windows.

so it is changeable. i like the openness better, it lets more light in and give the back seat their own windows.

NICE....... Love the white & red combo.
A guy could ride the Amtrak in a private sleeper car and drive this back. Kinda like a vacation with a trophy.

Why would anyone do that to a car as nice as this one is? Leave it alone.

The 1978 NYB's have body color match decals on the exterior mirrors and door handles. The driver mirror has "Chrysler" script on it.

That's a nice car. Needs a set of road wheels and to lose the white letter tires on the back. Side molding would be good to lose too if it could be taken off without leaving a mark.

All the Formal 2 doors with the opera window treatment are normal 2 dr. hardtops under the skin regardless of make, model. I have yet to see one without the window being fully operational. One St. Regis we stripped had - motors. So, yes, they all can be converted. All you need is the L&R 3 pc. shiny window trim. I had the trim to do it but I sold them after I sold my 2 door, the one Rush has now.

Good bet it's stick-on since it's after market.

I need to learn your lingo... I'm pretty sure the "aftermarket side molding" is what I was referring to.

Sorry, didn't know you are one of our many foreign members. Where are you from?

If he has to learn the lingo he sounds like a fair dinkum Aussie and should be ridgey didge, onya mate!

Formals had optional side rub molding optional. The trim was metal with a vinyl black insert. The trim on this car is factory. It was held on with clips, the doors, quarters had the obligatory knobs sticking out for the clips to hang on. Many Formals also had aftermarket stick on vinyl stuff put in the same area.
