Not mine...still hasn't sold

Here we have a 1969 Plymouth Fury Convertible, it is a rust free car, I cannot find any spots with rust not even in the floor. This car is an original California car and has been in the desert its whole life. The interior and convertible top has been baked to shreds but the car is complete, seems to have all the parts there with all trim and chrome. Bucket seats and all the frames for the seats are there.

The car has a 318 in it and comes with a secondary block with heads, pans and a few pistons (not a complete motor), the installed engine does turn over but we have not been able to start it. I assume the lack of starting is because its been sitting for a long time and needs a complete tune up, the plugs, cap and wires are very old looking. But, the motor does turn over strong!!

The car has been sitting for quite some time, there is no title/ paperwork. The car has fallen out of the DMV system and there are no back fees owed. I can get a title on it but that will cost extra.

If you have any questions feel free to call me at 661-435-1772, send any and all offers, this classic will be an easy restoration.

Yeah, there no way the asking price for that car can be remotely justified or logically explained. Dude is trying to hit the c body lottory. That car is rough.

Too bad, virtually no rust, a small block thats not original, dents on the bumpers, no seats, dash is toast, top is toast, no title, not a sport fury, priced 400% more than what its worth and yet it has a very uncommon steering wheel installed....

Yes, this one was at the Nationals, and Mark found another in Connecticut this past summer

Was the wheel an option itself or was it part of a package or another option?

Good question, I dont know enough about it because I havent seen many with them. It is because of it being seldom seen I dont think it was part of a package and it appears to be an option, not on the tag.

That 3 spoke wood wheel is optional, it is coded only on the broadcast sheet. It is called 'simulated walnut sports steering wheel.' It is coded on line 11 on the 1970 dodge sheet.

I gotta find my dodge option book. Its the little salesmans book with the options and codes.

Nice job Mark

Those were the good old days.
When you actually have several steering wheels to pick from!!!!!!!!!!!
Seems shocking today, doesn't it?

EZ Order Pkg. AY11, (Not avail. on CX models)
