Needs more pics and info but looks like it has potential. The sport grain at 18.5K is a better deal I think.

latest from the seller. i asked for any other photos he may have

"Some rust here and there underneath. Nothing that looks problematic. A little outside rust on the body, but light, typical of an original car from 1969. Restoration on this car should be easy."

Yes easy resto, easy 15K or more.

Not really what i'm looking for but may interest somebody else...

The car looks pretty good. Can't see any big issues on the outside of the body. And the seller claims it runs and drives. I like the ivory color too. I can't help but think how the car would look, if somebody washed it. . .

i asked for more photos, but nothing yet, and good point, WHY can't they at least wash it?

Jeezes, could he have stood any further back?

I doubt that it runs now, as he says it will run and drive, but not that it currently does do so. That small tractor is in the photo for a reason - the car was likely pushed/pulled to the photo site. I would guess the car has been sitting for many years and pretty original given that the original looking pinstripes going down the side of the body are still there. But the lower right rear quarter panel behind the wheel looks funny though, - like a bad bondo job. No where worth the money given the likely realities of the car. With a few photos taken far from the car, and carefully worded statement about the running condition of the car makes me pause - a lot.

ad states will run.. doesn't say DOES run....

I agree it was not driven to photo spot on its own power..
The tow strap visible under front plate rather much confirms that...

A solid console 440 ragtop project car would be worth about 1/2 the asking price. This should be a must see for someone looking for a project. My .02.

They always say that but to me it is a huge deal. If the engine doesn't run then how can one know what condition it is in. Suppose the rod bearings are shot? You can't tell unless you hear it running. For me a non-running engine is a big negative and big decrease in price. Even an older engine like these can run quite a long time before one needs to be rebuilt. The 410 in my Mercury has 153,000 miles and still does well in the power department. I'd rather not have to rebuild an engine as the first order of business.

has newer parts store battery installed for road use most likely in last 5 years. ad says garage kept, fourth photo shows car in what looks like a garage scene. mechanically i think the car could be started easily and road driven after inspection with discretion to brake hydraulics. priced for the global market.

latest reply, sounds like he wants the buyer to do all the work and take all the risks. I think we should avoid seller like this just on principal alone, though it is his right to operate how he likes....
"More pictures are posted. there is some rust through above the rear fender wells, but they are flat areas and could be replaced easily. The underside looks pretty good, but difficult to see without a hoist. Bring a trailer and some cash. At this price, you will not be disappointed."

No pictures of the underside, but it has been stored inside on concrete, so

I'm guessing it's no bad. As the description says, there is some rust on the rear wells and quarters. I have tried the magnet on the car. It belongs to the neighbor and I know little about it. It is being sold as is, where is.
