Hi, does anyone happen to have any photos of how the well liner should be attached? The service manual isn't really descriptive enough.

The push studs are simple but I'm not sure which part of the seat back it should be attaching to. The 1969 car I'm buying has one with a slight tear in it that I can patch up, but it was just laying in the trunk partially tangled in the mechanism.

What year?

Oops - 1969, edited post to reflect this. I see there's a lip on the back of the seat, this car doesn't have one - I wonder if someone forgot to fit it when the interior was replaced.

I was going to post my thread about my 66 Polara but it likely won’t be the same other than technique used
Let me know if you want to see if it will apply

it's glued to the metal cross brace behind the seat.

Mine is a '70, so I don't know if it would be the same as your '69, but my well liner is held on by snaps. They are accessible just under the rear cover, behind the rear seat.

Yeah found the snaps - it's the other side I'm puzzled about.
