Old Man with a Hat
I took one of my two '68 D100 Dodges to the NSRA nationals this weekend, and threw a "For Sale" sign on it for the swap meet they had as part of the event. The guy in the swap stall adjacent to me had some pretty cool stuff for sale. He had this skull headlight that was a custom job some guy in California made, and sold these for a few years. They are no longer being made. Anyway, it has a pair of HID lights in the eye sockets! I can imagine how cool this looks at night!
So, I had to see what this would look like as a hood ornament on the '68...I like it! It was priced at $450, so I passed on it. He said when these were new, they retailed at $1,700! Ouch!
