This car is just a few miles from me. I've been watching the price drop on it. If its still there come tax time I might buy it. It is missing the rear trim around the wheel wells and has a funky hood ornament. Otherwise the paint and interior is great. Have not heard it run or seen under the hood. Looks pretty rust free!!

Looks like a fine car to persue when the IRS returns some of the money they took from you.

Perhaps the car never had rear wheel trim but had fender skirts. That would look sharp, ask if they have them. Look on the dog leg area for the female end that accepts the fenderskirt hook and the rear quarter area for the threaded end facing downward for the skirt wing nut. I'm not sure if Newports had skirts but perhaps same as NYB. That would look neato and set your car apart more than it already appears.....at least in my opinion. I cannot see the hood ornament but perhaps a NYB one?????
