Didn't see this one before in this ad section. Checked thru 5 pages. Love, love the color.

I almost bought a nearly identical one to this one about a year ago that only had 5K miles on it (verified) with light brown bucket seats for a reasonable price. It was also crimson, but it didn't have a vinyl top and not enough options, so I passed. I should have bought it and flipped it given this listing, but since it had been sitting so long, I also know all the stuff that has to be fixed to make it drive well again.

And I wouldn't buy this one either, since it has autotemp 1 and not even disc brakes. The brakes could be changed easily enough though. I would just rather have a 300.

As the owner of a Crimson Red 70 300 I love the look of this NY but I am with Will on the colour. It does look a little darker to me. Missing a few options and I am skeptical of the claim the engine is untouched based on the fresh paint but very nice looking ride and I hope he gets what he is asking...makes my $2500CDN investment look a lot better :)

Is the trim on the doors usually that misaligned? Also looking at the passenger door front edge has me suspicious of some bad bodywork repairs.

I want that steering wheel...

Not enough to buy the car to get it though...

I had a 73 Imperial coupe with 34,000 original miles the car was stored in basement since the owners drained put the car up on blocks and left for all those years when decided to sell it they asked there closest relatives if wanted the car for free to keep it in the family no one wanted so I nabbed it 5,200 in 2012 and it was completely original the body and undercarriage was just as nice the only the only visible flaw was the vinyl cracking behind the front seats everything else was almost perfect. I got a hell of deal and can kick myself for selling it for even the 10,500 got for it. The guy I sold it to had found the missing link to his Imperial collection he had 69 thru 72 all coupes. He called after he received the car was thanking me and telling me found the original gold plated keys that were stuffed under the dash. He was concerned that the car was northeastern car all it's life he couldn't believe the condition. I love this NYer the color combo everything the fact these harder to find if I had the money I would consider it

My trim on my 70’ Yorker is a bit out of alignment so I didn’t really pay attention to it on this one; but now looking at this after you mentioning it - you’re right. That trim on passenger side looks off.

Well, this thread is a rerun of a rerun, but I guess a ’70 NYer 2 door that nice deserves it. By all means it does.

For Sale - 1970 Chrysler New Yorker 2d HT, $19 900

It was for sale in OH a year ago, for 16K. Should I wish I had found it before I snatched this?

To be true, IMHO one has to be content with what one has. Besides, I like white. No vinyl for me either, thanks. And I’d have to have that crimson one oversprayed to dark maroon to really like it. Maroon with lots of clear laquer.

Seems to be a nice surviving example, still personal inspection in this Price class is advised, a few early stage rust issues seem to Show up down the lower lines, like this lower door edge.
