Cruising day

Yesterday was a perfect day to curise with the top laid back. 100 miles of alabama back roads, ending up at a cruise in. (see events).

Here are a couple shots of the more interesting views we encountered.

A 71 Imperial coupe. blk/white top & interior. Looked solid. must have been sittingfor awile, moss on the right side

The 64 Imperial conv has been sittingthere for over 3 years, I've posted pic's of it in the past.

The 61 Belvedere was a suprise .... I'll need to go back and check it out, (locked in a fenced area). Looks solid and the tinted glass hints at A/C.

Bluefury, I'm a little bit envious. Our top down season just ended, no matter where in Finland you live. They got their first snow on the Finnish Lapland today! What we got here in mid-Finland is rain and heavy rain. I wouldn't walk my dog out there and my convertible even less!

Oh, I feel the every fall depression sneaking in... :sad3:

I made it a point to look at the VIN on the dash Carsten and it showded to be a 71, (6th digit is a "1"). I dosen't look like a car someone would tamper with. Not sure what thats about

AAAHHHH 71-72 whatever it would look better in my driveway with no moss. IMO.

I'm not sure. There was nobody around to ask about it. I pass by there now and again and thats the first time I saw that car there. The 64 Convertible has been parked there for a few years now. Sad to see it like that. It had to have been a really nice car at one time.
