Custom emblems

The Adventurer 300 emblems on Sabrina's truck are in sad shape. The 300's are missing, and the prongs on the back are broke.

Ofcoarse 300 emblems seem impossible to find, or crazy $$.

We picked up a set of Custom emblems at Carlisle, with blank boxes. A friend of a friend is going to make us some vynal 300 numbering to go in the boxes, after they are cleaned up, and painted. There's a custom emblem on the dash, so luckily they won't look outa place.

Got to thinking though. What might be a good personal touch, instead of 300??

Thought about doing 440, but won't fit when the Cummings swap comes. Rust cloud came to mind as well lol.

Any creative ideas??

A friend had a F-250 Ford with a custom F-666 emblem. I always got a laugh from that... You'd have to know him to understand.

But... is there numbers or something tied to the Blues Brothers that would work?

The friend who knows the guy called me all excited, saying he had it. He said the Cummings is a 6.9 right? D69 ha-ha-ha.

I could maybe do the license plate off the blumo, but don't think Sabrina would go for that...

Sabrina named the truck Mayble, but don't think many would get it.

Well they are "custom" lol

Just thinking of doing something other then the normal model call out on the emblem. Something Mopar themed. Not having luck though.

I'm better at subtractive custom emblems .. like, my Ranger was "anger XL"
My Marshall amplifiers were "Marsha", "Mars" and "Fury" (because I had an extra emblem and "Ma" seemed stupid)

That duplicolor chrome paint was a disappointment.. More like cast metal. The cap is not accurate at all.

But they do look better. Sabrina got to color the black in. I'll clear coat em tomorrow. Should have a little more shine then. Waiting to hear back from the decal guy....

Look through Critter's SFGT resto. His guy sprayed them with something else and it came out looking a lot more "chromish".
