Hit a pot hole yesterday on a bridge and lost a wheel cover. It was on part of the thruway and I had to go to the next exit and then all the way around. I got it back but the edge is bent up pretty bad. I straightened it as much as possible but I wouldn't trust driving with it on. I hope I get my new ones before Carlisle...

Well that sure sucks. That's part of the reason I went to road wheels on the Polara. Good luck getting the replacements.

The one that I damaged is one of the wire covers (70-71 I think), I have a set of original disk brake covers on the way but I'm not sure when they will get here. I would love a set of Magnum 500's..some day.

That's why I went with the '81-'82-'83 Imperial snow flakes on the Batwagon. Not every bodys cup of tea but I got tired of launching caps on my D.D. and the wife got real crabby with me when one of my "Car-Bud Friendz" ratted me out for buying 3 of the same size but different caps and ran 2 of each on each side. I figgered it's a good deal, got a spare for each side as needed! Wife did not agree, go figger

Hub caps and potholes are the least of my worries around hear. Try cows, deer, farm machinery, etc. More like losing a front clip!!! Lol
