Dash background light

Hi guys

I have a problem on my 1974 Plymouth fury. When I turn on the headlights everything works fine but sometimes the dash background light not turns on but If I move the headlights switch the dash background light turns on.

What can be wrong?
Maybe should I replace the headlights switch?

Must I replace only the headlight switch or must I consider something else?

Just go to a local parts store, they'll carry it. Napa or Autozone. I wouldn't buy any of those, go to a parts house and bring your old one with you so you can match it up.

I can't because I don't live in the U.S so I must buy parts from online stores. I found this on Autozone
