Julie and I are flying out to Denver on Tuesday the 17th to pick up our new to us 78 Dodge D150 Adventurer SE and drive it home to Wisconsin. Does anyone know of salvage yards in that area that specializes in all things MoPar? (Or 60's sewing machines...yes sewing machines). We may stop at Moore's Salvage in S.D. as a side trip coming back. Well take some pictures slong the way to share with you guys!

Seems like there is an online listing of salvage yards somewhere?

IF you were going back "southern-style", Bud's in Aline, OK has about 4500 cars of all makes, but that might take too long. Seems like there are some Mopar-specialized yards in KS, too, or were?

If you're swinging back through Minnesota on I-90, exit 119, I'd love to meet you if you have a minute, since you didn't make the Farmington show. Just a thought!

That sir is a very good idea!! I'll try to make it happen. Would like to meet you and others on this site in the future!! I'll get in touchpad we get closer to your neck of the woods. Thanks!!

Any pics of your new pick up? My folks are aging. Driving has become an issue for them, so I'm getting my old pickup back. They've had it since 02, it's seen dump runs, and high school football game duty. It gets stored in winter as they are snowbirds.

The plan is to drive it for now :D. Down the road maybe swap out the 360 for a 440 and do the body resto. No rust but a few dents etc. I'm buying it from the original owner (she has the dealer invoice, window sticker, manuals etc). Aside from the possible engine swap going to leave it pretty much stock.

I was calling wrecking yards in the Sioux Falls area and was directed to Steve's Auto in Tabor, SD (Yankton area). Nordstrom's said he was the best Mopar guy in SE SD. I called, and he seems knowledgeable and can help me with a donor 8 3/4. Call them at 605-463-2440

Were sitting in the Madison terminal as our flight got delayed abt 1.5 hrs. Going to put us in Denver abt 8:30. Then shuttling to Colorado Springs.

Stewardess: "We found some kegs of Spotted Cow, Captain."

Sky Pilot: "Good, now we can take off."

Enjoy the flight!

WHEW...made it to Colorado Springs! Our flight from Madison was delayed twice. We got to Denver at 8:20 and our shuttle was supposed to leave st 8:30.We managed to call the shuttle service and they waited 10 minutes for us, it took 15 to find out way thru the airport. We saw the shuttle pulling out and Julie literally ran down the road screaming for the shuttle driver to stop!! She got some assistance from another driver in a van and our shuttle stopped.1.5 hrs later we're in the motel room. What a day...lol!!
