Thanks for the pics but I'd also be interested in your detailing techniques.

I had some road tar on the bumper so I sprayed WD-40 to remove that. The rest was easy because everything in the rear has been re-chromed. The chrome guy said to just use windex, but I usually polish it with a Mother's product first.

Yep, that makes me smile too!

Very nice. Who did your plating ?

Metal Brite local to me out of Dayton, OH. Family business, rear bumper had a dent right where I took the picture. Also does pot metal which all the other metal around the bumper.

Thanks. That's only about 45 minutes from here, I might have to look into them.

I am the same distance the other way. Mike the owner can even quote you everything with pictures in an email. The bumpers are pretty competive with others.

Pot metal stuff adds up fast, but he does it right. Strips them down and then adds copper until smooth. Those tail lights took 3 coats of copper.

Here is the original thread some before during and after shots. http://www.forcbodiesonly.com/mopar-forum/showthread.php?4975-The-re-chrome-wish-list/page6

That doesn't seem like a bad price for 25 pieces of pot metal. That back up lamp housing was nasty. Do they fix mashed pot metal trim too ?

Not sure but I would think so. Those back up lights were nasty and look brank new now.
