This isn't just for the toys, I outgrew my 700 sq ft home shop years ago and this is long overdue. I will finally have a place that I can spread out and do my carpentry, metal fab, concrete and work on the cars without having to rearange my entire shop after every process. A friend of mine just bought the building, his 3rd on the same block and was generous to offer it up to me before putting it up for lease on the market. I do a lot of work for him in his other buildings so it'll be a win win for both of us. 3500 sq ft! Junkyard Dog Enterprises, Inc has just started a new chapter and I couldn't be more excited for it! Time to hit Craigslist for some bigger tools! IMG_8224.JPGIMG_8221.JPGIMG_8222.JPGIMG_8223.JPG

Congratulations! Looks like the beginning of something great.

:congratualtions:

That would be a dream come true for just about all of us. Congratulations!!
Now, GET A LIFT IN THERE, dammit.

Now, GET A LIFT IN THERE, dammit.

Ive already found a bunch of lifts on Craigslist, lots of businesses liquidating and a few upgrading, so theres no shortage but I'm not going for that kind of commitment just yet. After all the car thing is still just a hobby...for now. I primarily need the space and power capacity for my money making career. First will be things like a 2 stage compressor and a beverage fridge, oh yeah and a bigger welder, plasma cutter, etc..

A lift will make the hobby more enjoyable. It can be a space saver too; you'll be able to stack your cars.

If I have the capacity to start stacking cars, that means I would, that means more cars and eventually less room! Lol!

Eventually 10,000 sq ft would be too small if you're doing things right, I am self employed and work by myself, so I'm hoping that 3500 sq ft will do for a while.
