I just bought a pair of fenderskirts of ebay for my 68 Fury III convertible. When I took of the moulding I saw that one side was painted under the moulding and the other one just have primer under it. I thought that was weird. One other thing was that they were marked on the backside with a handwritten number. The skirts and mouldings are like new. The seller stated that his parents took of the skirts in the early 70s. I am very pleased with them.

The one with primer under the molding must have been a replacement where the body shop got lazy and didn't spray the lip area, which is not full covered by the molding in one spot. Also could be that the one skirt was painted first thing on a Monday morning or just before quitting time on a Friday.
