Well I may have found my 69 Sport Fury Convertible replacement about 800 miles away in Detroit. I am in a dilemma to head out and see if it is worth getting or not. My problem is that I am the primary care giver of my 95 year old father and really without much hoopla can take off for several days to check out & get this car. Is there anyone in the Detroit area that may be willing to do a hands on viewing of this car or may know of the car that I am looking to buy. Any help would be greatly be appreciated. If so please PM me. :eek:ccasion14:

Thanks

Paul

I'm up for it, pm sent.

Aka Taylortucky. Kind of a haul for me, maybe 45 minute drive.

Pretty darn good,,, I am torn between heading out on a road trip and tow it back, fly out & back then ship it back or gamble and just buy it & ship it.

It a well optioned car (5 liner) Ac/ pw / disc brakes, cruise, factory tachometer, console, buckets, cornering lights, 383 4 barrel, needs some work & trinket pieces that I have a 20 year treasure trove of "factory new" parts (chrome, trim, etc) and a paint job plus the factory paint is the exact color I want. Unless its a rust bucket I am VERY VERY INTERESTEN !!!! 99.9 %

45 mins .... ? Piece of cake. The closest home depot/ auto parts store to me is 45 mins.....LOL
Taylortucky is close to my old stomping grounds..... downriver. I have a brother in New Boston who could check it out if Matt can't. Hes a car guy but not well versed on C bodys. He could verify condition though.

OR..... If it can wait untill the 19th/20th of this month I am planning to go up there and retrieve my dads 96 ram 4X4. I could probably look for you.
