Now if they could just shake 800 pounds off of the car. I like the shaker and love the look of the new Challys though.

Well that 800 pounds is what you get with all the sound deadening, and all the wiring and modules to control all the fancy options everyone has to have now days. Yup they are a lot heavier then the original cars that's for sure.

Thats true. I was more comparing them to the current competition.....although the Camaro is pretty porkish as well.

My wife and I just got back from test driving a couple of them and I think for trips and highway cruising their the ticket. I drove the stick and auto and after that an auto srt is the ticket for me. I think it going to be a nice Christmas present!!!!

I just can't warm up to the Challengers. I have a lot of friends with them and they love them, but they don't do that much for me.

Well is won't be this one 4 banger weighing 2,100lbs.

That is awesome news! Congrats!

The new Challengers hood isn't long enough for any of the scoops I've seen on them, I like the standard Rallye hood best on these. These have been out in the aftermarket for some time and I've seen quite a few around here and not just on Challengers.
