I just got my new wheels in the mail today. Now I need the correct lug nuts to match up to my 1967 Newport.

Here's the wheels and lug nuts I bought. It appears that the lugnuts are incorrect, thanks to Summits Live Chat. So i tried live chat again and they wanted to instead sell me spline shank lug nuts then I called AWC and the lady told me to just use acorn style. Then I had to explain again what wheels I have then she put me on hold for awhile to eventually tell me to use a .80 shank style and she still didn't have any clue about washers.

So just for the sake of not repeating myself six more times. The car is a 1967 Newport Base with the follow items -

Is there a kit that has everything I need? or do most wheels/shops have all this?

Yes for real up to 1971 and some early 71s are still lefties, as for why they don't know:icon_question:. You can just order studs for the right side of your car 5 for front 5 for rear and put them on left side of car and use the same lug nuts all the way around.

I don't know if you need shanked or not and not sure about offset washers but the dia and thread count is correct.

By looking at the picture of the wheels, it looks like the washer sits in a groove for different lug patterns. The wheels are uni-lug?? Before ordering the washers, make sure they are center or offset. Pull a wheel on your car and put a new wheel on and see if the stud is center in the hole or offset. Also the second link washers don't look right in the picture??

I'm still tryin' to figure out why a set of wheelz would be purchased from Summit or anywhere else knowing that are not compatible with a '67 Chrysler bolt pattern. I'd take Dave's advice and convert the left side to right hand threadz and find wheels that accept regular cone shaped RHT lug nutz. Just my .02 worth, Jer

I think the wheels will be fine, i just can't seem to find anyone to tell me the correct lug nuts I need for it. I know there are other C bodies out there with Supreme's on them...

Summits Live Chat has told me three different types, AWC couldn't tell me anything about washers. Other forums say that they've used Cragar's on Supremes, others say that the two shouldn't go together...Then here was the first I ever heard about LH threads. You guys seems to know more than the people that sell this stuff.

O.K. I guess I'd take one of those wheelz to your local DISCOUNT TIRE STORE and see what they say about the lug nutz needed. That could solve your problem for the correct nutz for the wheelz but doez nothing for the left hand threaded lugz. Just don't let the guyz out in the shop touch your ride without warning the manager of those left side nutz first.I doubt theirz anyone one thatz changing 'um onm the line that waz even on the planet when Walter P. joined the other companies to all right had studz 'n nutz. He started using those left threaded lugz some time between WWI and WWII and didn't give up on 'um 'til '71 as previously stated. FYI, Uncle Sam still thinkz left hand threadz on the left side of most if not all of hiz tire shod vehicle'z If he hasn't changed hiz mind lately. Ask some of our brethren FCBOers that have worked the motor pool for our uncle recently about that, Jer

Upon a closer look they seem to be uni lug (oval hole), they usually use a oval insert that goes up to the shank on the lug nut and uses the offset washer shown with the crager nuts you linked to. That all being said and judging from you dialogue with the manufacture you will not know what is going to show up on your doorstep till it is staring back at you. If you want them get them but wait on the lugnuts till you have the wheels in hand, I hate to say it but Pep Boys has a large selection of lugnuts on hand, since they sell a lot of wheels of all different types, make the help there jump through hoops the find the right nuts and if you really hate buying there as I do get the number and order from Jegs they need the support since they sponser a mopar and have free shipping on all orders not just the ones over $100. Enough of my ramblings this is about as far as I can take you, good luck.

Oh and we will need pictures before, after, drinking beer installing them whatever

Rims are bought and sitting in my basement. I still haven't decided if im gonna have them mounted before winter or not. I was planning on using the tires I have now, but If I wait til spring then I might as well get the tires I really want....a 3.5 inch white wall.

We don't have an actual wheel shop around here just local tire/oil change shops with typical tire and wheel selections.

The reason I chose Summit is because Jegs doesn't carry AWC wheels, which from what I've read, makes very good Supremes.

I'm still waiting for 440Sled to respond, he has the same setup as far as I know....and they look Awesome!

Got a picture of the lug hole area on your wheels are they coned, straight, oval I understand Summit / Jegs I have to order a Temp gauge for my Peterbilt and Jegs doesn't carry Stuart Warner.

I posted pics of the wheels in my profile. Unfortunately I cannot find any Supreme style rim that is hub centric nor non-uni-lug.
