Had to take some pictures of this rainbow .

I was expecting a lowrider! However, wow! That is unusually low. I wonder why that is? A meteorologist should be able to explain why. Could be overhead pressure, but I think rainbows are more due to light refraction, so possibly the position of the sun.

Basically what @3C's & a D? 's said, just adding the position of the rainbow's observer relative to the sun''s position and height vs. the horizon.

In that second pic looks to me like there's a second rainbow ring on the bottom.
