So, I've been doing some searching on old threads about rebuild kits for C bodies. The most recommended rebuild kit was this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...7&pd_rd_w=QyRlv&pd_rd_wg=aAHVp&ref_=pd_gw_unk

However, my 70 Sport Fury's pins are the same length so I don't really want a kit with one long pin and one short one. Anyone have a better option? I know GM still sells repair kits for old GMs, so wondering if MOPAR does the same.

Honestly, I have so much on my plate I'd just send both sets of hinges to SMS, but at $290 a set, I'm going to have to tackle this myself.

ANY GM "kit" (especially for the pre-2000s vehicles) will be an aftermarket situation. GM sells the pins and bushings themselves, plus any slide-on retaining clips. Not put-together as a kit in a bag. Most of the late-model aftermarket GM pick truck kits have two shorter pins rather than one long pin. Not that a repro vendor might get the genuine GM parts in bulk and make their own "OEM-quality" kits as an assemblage of OEM GM parts that they might sell.

There are some Chrysler B-body items on the market, but I'm not sure if they'll fit C-body cars. It's possible they might, just that we don't know that? Of course, the vendors might not know either, so they'll probably claim they will only fit what THEY claim they'll fit.

Enjoy!

That kit is so cheap why not just buy 2 and use the 2 long pins and discard the 2 short ones? I'm pretty sure that's the exact kit we used on our '68 300 and it seems fine.
