does anyone know of any restoration business for door panels and of door pulls for 70 300/

The door pulls are tough to come by.

I rebuilt my door panels. I used 3m trim adhesive to glue the old vinyl to the new board. For some reason, I left that out in the write up.

A good upholstery shop should be able to do it too. Ironically it took him 9 months too. My guy had issues attaching the 300 emblem on my '66 300. Pretty sure you can buy new door pulls I have seen them in several places including eBay.

You can buy some that will fit, but won't be the same as the originals. Quite often the OE pulls have been replaced this way.

If the vinyl is totally shot on the door panels, is a good upholstery shop able to mold the vinyl with the correct creases/seams? I didn't think many places handled that, hence my SMS recommendation. Only place I know of.

Actually mine is slightly different, he put a pad behind all of it. In my opinion looks stock, but better. It looks completely stock but the upper right corner was almost like a contact paper. I wanted vinyl there too so there is a couple of seams that you see only when the door is open.

Mine where shot I got lucky and found both the left and right in a junkyard, where they had probably been for 30 years and amazingly no cracks. Dyed them to match the interior still look brand new 4 years later.

Are we talking about the same thing? I don't see a door pull on your car.

Just below the 300 emblem and above the arm rest.

No you're right. No door pulls on my '66, I was talking about armrest/door handle? What ever they called. :)

Very nice interior. I see your upholstery shop stitched the panels. SMS will actually mold them like they are in the 300 door panel pic. Both are good. Just I guess if someone wants them to look stock....

Yes I personally like the real stitching I chose a vinyl that was more my taste than original stock too. I can appreciate the steps SMS takes to keep it original.
