Is it just the incorrect fender skirts that make the proportions look all wacky? Car could be corrected and be quite a looker. Wish people realized that they are usually the only one who sees their vision when customizing something.

I think it's just an optical delusion because of the pinstriping.

I think its more than that, I'm looking at the reflections in the paint as well, the 68 fury is a slab sided vehicle and it looks like he has pumped out those quarters.

The fact the front and rear shots don't show bulging fenders makes it even more confusing.

I think the quarters are stock, skirts and pinstriping are playing with everyone's eyes.

Way too much money for me, but if I could, I'd buy it and get rid of the tacky chit under the hood, keep the side pipes for a while just to bug people, ditch the skirts, and drive it.

Spoke with the seller and got a little more info. Engine is out of a '70 Road Runner, car was repainted about 5 years ago and pinstriping added, has 56,9XX miles, newer exhaust and the turn signal switch needs to be held down when turning left. It's been like this for close to 20 years and has only been driven about 7,000 miles in that time.

Oh yeah, he has the original skirts, but they'd need to be repainted to match the car.
