I recently had my car on jack stands for a couple months. I replaced all the front end suspension parts and replaced front and rear shocks with KYBs. When I put the car back on the ground I noticed it wasn't level in the rear. So I measured it with a tape measure and sure enough the driver side rear is about an inch lower then the passenger side rear. The front is level. While I was replacing the rear shocks I noticed the top shock mounting rail was rather easy to flex on the driver side and I noticed there was a gap from the frame. (See pic) The passenger side mount was firm and sat flush on the frame. Would this be the cause of ride height difference?

Before you get too far excited, DO make sure the front torsion bars are adjusted correctly for a level front bumper. After you drive it for a while and then bounce it up and down a few times when stopped. The rh front with too much tension on the bar can make the lh rr become low.

Another quick check would be to take the rear shocks loose from their lower mounts and then let the car back down on the ground. That would take the gas pre-load of the shocks out of the equation.

If the upper mounting for the lh rr shock is compromised, it will need to be repaired before the shocks compromise it more. Gas shock or not, there will still be forces which that mount will need to resist as the shocks work.

Just some thoughts,
