Oh do you mean this one?
Oldsmobile: Toronado

A colleague of my late father had one just like that when it was new. Same color, same interior, a '67. I got to ride in it many times. What an awesome machine! Great memories. - I'd buy one if I had a garage where I could tuck it into. I'd look for a better specimen, though. This one is pretty rough, and it's even more difficult to find parts for a '66-'67 Toro than for a C-body of the same vintage.

Interesting... It sold on its last auction for a lot less money. No explanation either.

Something's fishy.

Possibly shill bidding last time. The rust pictures are not the best, but I'm sure anyone really interested would ask for more.

Looks decent but, I'd be curious how everything looks since he mentioned that the window was cracked and the that the garage that this car was stored in was leaking as well. Funny story and I still kind of kick myself but, when I was in my younger years (mid 20s) I had a chance to buy a supposed running/driving 70 Toronado with the W34 package. Basically, with a slightly hotter 455 and dual exhausts. In 2006, the guy wanted $5000 for the car and it was in decent shape and mostly complete along with being a western ND car. I still wondered whatever happened to it.

That happened to me once... I don't even remember the car but the bid never got to where it should have and I won a no reserve... the seller refused to sell at that price (stupid low) and told me what he wanted (stupid high). I let it go as a fight not worth fighting (different state too), but I did write EB and kill his relisting and seller's account... no point in letting it go entirely unpunished.
