The guy called the seller up and they agreed to a BIN price and the auction listing was changed to consummate the deal.
Other people simply pull the listing and the deal is done off ebay.
There's pros and cons to both.PicsArt_12-28-12.37.04.jpg

Hey I just found this . I bought that car at chritmas time and that story is correct , I rang him and changed the price to what he thought was fair and the rest is history . Its been sitting in Los Angeles for a few months and is now on the boat and about 2 weeks away and is coming to Melbourne Australia ! This is our 12th 300 we have bought over . This looks to be a really honest car ! Its a TNT 440 Car as well and minimal electrics which suits me fine ! Will let you guys know how it goes when it arrives ! This is the one that arrived the other day . A Rare Code 358 TNT 440 Performance Pack 66 300 in Royal Turquoise , fully loaded from Northern California . Here is a pic

Nice car. Welcome to the forum!

Great car for 4 grand.. Im not sure how many 66 300s came with a 440 from the factory?? Anyone?

There were plenty of 440s made , but not many nice survivors left with 440s with their correct b-440 engines . The Code 358 "Performance Pack " is the rarest ones . TNT 440 with disc brakes , heavy duty torsion bars , shocks , rear springs , big mast cyl , hemi booster , 15 inch wheels .

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! The '66 300 is my favorite C-body.
