Well it is not what you think. It is a season beer from Breckenridge Brewery. It starts with an original gravity of 1.072 and ferments to 7.2% alcohol. It is an Imperial Stout and is quite good.

Very cool packaging and the labels on the bottle are painted on. A little commercial love for our c-bodies.

I went to a store in Columbus that has an incredible beer selection. He told me this is a fall release and he had a case in the back left over he didn't even have it on the shelf.

Probably pretty unlikely to find until next fall. I got some bad information initially someone told me it came out in February. I just got lucky.

I've been keeping my eyes open for it for a year and haven't seen it anywhere. How does it taste?

Very nice flavor no bitterness in the finish. Malty sweetness goes good with Valentine chocolates. You can smell the roasted barley, vanilla, chocolate, in the aroma.

A great example of a Russian imperial stout, sweet not bitter.

You are missing out on a great beer Will. If you kept it in the fridge it will age well. If it got warm or any sunlight probably skunky now.

It is a good 5F winter day up north kind of beer.

Click on the locator tab......there is 20 locations within 50 miles of me that sell it.

Holy smokes. You need to write a beer column.

I have discovered that is just an indicator of a place that sells any of the Breckenridge line, doesn't mean they will have or ever get the 72 Imperial. My gas station has a decent selection, but only seen about a third if the line there, and not the 72 Imperial said he couldn't get it.

LOL sorry Stan I don't buy many beers in a can any more. I admit I am a beer snob and I don't I have a single can of beer in the beer frig. :)

Haha. I keep canned Bud Light for those that seem to drink only that. Micro brewed beer is a gift from the heavens.

Yeah the locator finder thing on the site doesn't mean anything, I went to a couple of the very few places near me that the site referred me too and they had never heard of it. One place said they'd get it for me, took my number and never called.
