Ebay seller for an estate is listing a number of interesting cars for sale. I believe this collection was in another post, but now some of the collection is on ebay. Some of the ones I thought were especially interesting will be interesting to watch - the 61 Plymouth is especially rare, although I do not think the front bucket seats are factory, which makes me suspicious of the rest of the car being original:

This 300 Hurst is a very well preserved example. Appears to be very original and maybe even unrestored or done a long time ago from the satin finish of the gold paint. Apart from these "must go" valve covers and very few "plumbing" issues in the engine compartment I only see a wrongly colored 300 H emblem and the trunklid seems to be redone at least from the inside. More desirable to me even than the very well restored other example at sale as far as can be told.

This one's going to haunt me for a couple of weeks.

Oh man, what I would do with that 300 Hurst, for starters I'd keep those valve covers, but probably most likely loose those aftermarket exhaust tips.

Trunk mounted antenna on the Hurst is a huge blunder too that would drive me crazy.

Right about the antenna. Still gonna haunt me even as my car isn't that bad either.

Those catalog valve covers would be on the junk pile immediately. These rest of the stuff bothers me a lot less. Too bad the upholstery is shot, but all that takes to fix is $$$.

I don't see too many $ to spend, interior has the right amount of patina to not look shabby a little freshening up at best.

The brochure shows no bucket seat option available. Those seats are period-looking and appear to have the correct upholstery, but I think you could only get the "Command" seat from the factory on these (the one with the taller backrest for the driver). Of course, you couldn't order a 4-speed with a Hurst shifter either...

That 61 started life as a 318 3sp column shift car. Asking price on it is 30K

The sale of the cars is being handled by Mike McCandless.

Pretty sure Herb, His dad, is still on top of the sod.
These guys flip a lot of high end cars, espically Forward Look stuff. The good thing is that they also know a lot about them and don't BS a customer.

I believe Herb McCandless is still alive and kicking.

Brooklyn Heavy is gone, but I haven't seen anything about McCandless passing.
