I worked at the same switchboard and sat in the same chair as Dean Correll, the famous serial killer. He was already dead but not by long when I got there. A few years earlier, I was in an affair with a Rochester mob bosses wife. I had no idea at the time. She was just a cougar. I learned later she was married to Sammy G. She was the niece of my mother's boss and we met in a bowling alley. She even took me to her home and I met her kids. Her mother lived upstairs. Sammy Gingello was killed in a car bomb in Rochester. Thinking back on things, its tough to realize you were screwing a mob bosses wife without knowing it.
