Facebook is all about how you use it. I'm not real active on it, but belong to a couple of groups that interest me. Like forums, it's not for everyone.

Some people are idiots with what they post... They don't get that the world is watching.

My son had a crazy ex and they were having some problems over custody of my grandson. She should have deleted her MySpace account before she decided to push him enough to get me involved. Some printed out pages of her drinking and carrying on along with my "take no prisoners" lawyer and my son had custody.

Like you I refuse to buy into this crap, never have, never will. If they won't hire me because I refuse to be another mindless sheep in the heard and have a Facebook page...then the heck with them.

I hate facebook.
But I am on there, too.
Not with my real name and I don't have "friends".
I just participate in couple of groups and due to being registered I can see photoalbums from other members (from car shows etc).

Yea people post stupid nonsense on facebook.....why the hell do I care if you brush your teeth with goats milk. They fail to realize they are advertising to the entire world...which means anyone anywhere who has access to an internet connection....personal habits, sensitive details about their lives, where they might live, etc. Facebook is not what it seems.

Funny, my 19 and 21 year-olds don't do Facebook because they say it is for "old" people. I would only check someone's Facebook to see when they are posting. It depends on the job, if it's during normal work hours they won't get a job in my department, I would want them working, not chatting online.

Hmmmm let's see I have two friends from high school that I talk to almost every day on a phone, if I don't have your number or you don't have mine there is a reason for that. Same goes for a couple of friends I have from the Navy. This is the only forums I belong to (lucky for you guys lol) Joey's others also because he runs them well.
