Every B & E body I'm doing we are replacing trunk floors and lower quarters just like this one needs. Problem is with this car buying a trunk floor from AMD and just dropping it in isn't an option. Too bad because that would make this an easy project.

What an unusual combo of options. I love it.
But I think this is a good case for "rarity won't dictate value". It will appeal to a small group of collectors. Still worth 8-10K as is.
A sheet of metal and a good bead roller will create a great trunk floor pan......

Was first gear synchro in the 3 speeds that year.
My 66 Fury didn't have synchro and it was a freakin P.I.T.A. around town.

Yeah, it would be very tempting to swap a 4-Speed in there. For me, I'd probably want to put Power Steering in it too. I wouldn't likely bother with Power Brakes though. My '70 Mercury has P/S, but no Power Brakes and, IMO, doesn't need them. I'd be torn on doing the swaps though because it would take away this car's uniqueness.
