Old Man with a Hat
Got the Coronet over to a friend's shop on Friday for a complete brake re-do. It's been parked over two years because of two things: I lost my patience with the car and I can't bend or do anything over the past two years. A second set of eyeballs is always good to have. The brakes were way worse than I thought. Stopping took planning and the hopes of no one in front of me!
On the Imperial, I started it recently and saw the oil pressure gauge rest comfortably on zero. No clattering or other untoward noises, so I shut it off. Anyone realize what a pita it is to get to the sending unit? It's deep in there. Lots of real estate to cross on the Imperial! On a whim, I checked the connection and wiggled the wire. Started it, and got pressure!
It went from 65° yesterday to 29° today, so no shop time today. Figuring this is a good day for a brisket sandwich and a Mountain Dew!
