Damn, it was cold in upstate NY.
I know it was for a funeral, but it was great seeing all of the family again after 20 plus years. I have been there three times recently and they were all from deaths. We need to go up for just a vacation. In the summer .

There are some nice shows North.... While you are there perhaps you can connect it to the Moparfest show in Ontario in August... You wont regret it.

Weddings and funerals........ I need a new suit.

It's a shame, but sometimes that is the only time we see family is at funerals and weddings.

Now you can appreciate being back in eighty degree weather.Makes you wonder how people live up there during the winter.I bet your coat didn't seem like it helped that much, never does,no matter how much your wearing.I'm sure it's good to be back in sunny ole Fla!

You don't know my sister.
The Devil took a course on Evil she taught. He couldn't take it and dropped out.

Glad you're back home. So sorry about the passing of your sister. Two years ago, hubby took me to the Western part of Mass. to see James Taylor and enjoy the 4th July fireworks in Boston. I didn't realize how beautiful the state really is. Every time we went to Mass. was to see my Grandfather in Bridgewater. I would love to go back again..in the summer. I see a road trip in the future for the Monaco. She knows the way, as she has been to Tx to Mass so many times. I should add...I've never been any where else by THE CITY in NY. Time to travel

If you go to New York State, don't just go to the "city". It's absolutely nothing like the rest of the state.

Well,if your ever going to travel to NYC,I definately wouldn't chance driving thru if you value your car.Find a safe place outside the city and take a train/subway in.Besides, who can afford the rediculous costs of tolls going over the bridges and tunnels there.I drove thru NYC a few times when I lived on Long Island and would never chance driving any car that was worth anything thru there. And if you decide to park somewhere you can spend quite a bit for parking(if you can find it) which evens out the cost of just taking a train in and knowing your car is parked safely somewhere that it won't get damaged.
