Fire Wall Plug

Does anyone know if the plug/cover for this hole in the fire wall is avialable? (Must be for A/C lines or something). Thanks!

It's not for AC, that would be on the passenger side.

That's not a plug, it's the cowl drain. It only attaches at the two holes shown at the top of the opening. They are available from DMT - Detroit Muscle Technologies.

This one is for E body, but they make them for all models.

Don't forget about RT Specialties in PA. Tom supplies a lot of the guys who sell this stuff. I remember the Mesa Az days back in the 80's & early 90's we'd bring him samples of hard to get plugs, pucks, trim clips etc and he'd get em into the food chain. Worth a shot...

You'd be surprised that some oddball part like this a universal part between different models of Mopars. You'd also be surprised by how many B body parts interchange with C's as well. Gas tank filler grommet is anything example. Good Luck

I made my own out of thin rubber gasket material and added a couple of plastic plugs...

68 C-body is same part as a Charger.
The DMT one fits perfectly and is identical to the original.
I picked one up this summer.

No - very few parts interchange with Chargers and other body sizes. Engine and transmission parts yes, for the most part depending on the engine and performance packages.

So far trunk bumpers,cowl flap seem to be the only ones I have stumbled across.
This is where a parts book is helpful. Some vendors don’t list C- body stuff, but if you know the P/N is the same as another model, you can search that way for better success (not guaranteed).
