Now that the car is 99% done, I had an order from my wife to get the he!! out of the house and take my car somewhere. Our little town had it's 3rd annual show Saturday and 100' drags today. A respectable showing of about 100 cars in attendance. But as usual, the Mopars were outnumbered10 to 1.

Hood down, top down and windows down

Cummins powered ratrod

Nice old Fargo, but ruined with the BBC in it

74 Newport

Kaiser Henry J

68 Monaco. This car just sold for $3200 about a month ago.

Ready to rumble

68 Dart with a small block 440. Rattles my windows every time he leave the subdivision.

I think mine looks better than the Pontiac

Ok. I'll bite. What's a small block 440? Learning something new here.

We all do but what a great photo of two terrific cars.
Agree...... It's hard to walk past a nice early to mid 60's drop top Pontiac.

I've always perfered displaying a car this way. I think a cars design is best represented with all the panels in the closed position, as intended by the stylist.
We all know what an engine looks like, and shiny bits don't really impress me.
I see a car parked with it's hood open and I think..... AAA might show up soon.

Give the folks who like to shoot pictures of a stylish car a break and keep the hood closed. I'm always happy to show off a well detailed engine compartment if asked.... But the hood goes back down.

The stance on the Pontiac is just simply stupid. No reason for it to be like that.
Maybe he has Torsion Bar Envy.

Your car looks great, hard to imagine a nicer color combo.

Wow. Now THAT there is some mighty big text.

Wow, never saw that before...whats a Siamese block?

I believe they are referring to there not being any water jackets between the cylinders. Thus allowing a massive bore without getting into a jacket. Bet she runs a tad warmer than a comparable traditional block.

They can punch it out and stroke it to the attic but the distributer is always going to be at the wrong end.
